CopperGate develops modems that enable IP communications across existing wires (phone lines, coax cables and power lines). CopperGate is committed to open standards and is an active participant in ITU and IEEE. An active participant in these open standards bodies, CopperGate has technologies that support all three standards:

• HomePNA the coax and phone line standard equivalent to the ITU G.9954 standard
• HomePlug AV, the Power Line Communications standard - now being embraced by IEEE P1901
• G.hn (G.9960), the next generation ITU standard
