CopperGate delivers the best home networking chipsets. These state-of-the-art, system on a chip solutions provide complete compatibility with ITU-T G.9954, also known as HomePNA 3.1. CopperGate HomePNA chipsets deliver up to 320 Mbit/s over existing wires such as coax and phone lines enabling HDTV Home Entertainment Networks and other triple play functionality. Millions of these chips are now being deployed worldwide and over 50 Tbit/s of rich media traffic run on these chips every moment of every day.

All CopperGate HomePNA chipsets are designed with a large variety of interfaces making it easy to integrate into network adapters, set top boxes, residential gateways, ONTs and other embedded applications. Each chipset supports both Master and End Point applications and allow designers to choose the optimal interface for their specific system requirements. These excellent chipsets are scalable and support simple devices without requiring external memory and can also scale to support complex systems where they can share resources with an external host.

CopperGate has three generations of HomePNA chipsets, the first generation 3010 Chipset, the second generation 3110H Chipset and the third generation 3210H Chipset. Each chipset includes an analog portion and a digital portion.

Note: The CopperGate chipsets have firmware that optimizes the chip to either Home Entertainment Networking or MDU-based applications. These firmware versions can be delineated by the M or H on the end of the chip name. For example, the CG3210M is for MDU.
