CopperGate CG3110H Chipset solution enables the development of low-cost, whole-home multimedia networking products allowing Triple Play Services over existing coax and phone lines. Based on ITU G.9954 standard (HomePNA 3.1 specifications), the CG3110H Chipset adds an integrated Ethernet MAC to the features of the industry proven CG3010 chipset while increasing the maximum data rate to 160 Mbps. The CG3110H chipset also adds multiband operation allowing multiple HomePNA 3.1 networks to exist on the same coax cable.
The CG3110H offers a variety of interface options which make this chip ideal for low-cost, high-performance networking solutions in IP Set-Top Boxes, PVRs, Broadband and Media, Gateways, Ethernet Bridges and VoIP Adapters. The chipset is supported by reference designs and a comprehensive set of development tools.
Featuring Guaranteed QoS and Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation, the CG3110H provides efficient utilization of network resources for multiple, simultaneous streams of real-time standard and high-definition IP video, audio and voice in the presence of besteffort data transfers.
